Set up in 2004 by an award-winning consultant from one of the UK's largest recruiting organisations, this is a specialist technology recruitment company with a hugely dynamic culture. They have just acquired brand new offices in the City of London to support an ambitious growth plan which is heavily geared towards hiring and developing driven, sales-focussed graduates.

Initially, you will be in the research team and will be working on requirements across all areas of the business. Ultimately your goal is to find individuals who are suitable for placements. Should you help to make any successful placements, you will get a bonus which is based on a percentage of the commission. Typically this is between £200 and £2000. You will work on permanent and contract positions and use a mixture of techniques to find the right individuals. Most of the placements are made from headhunting candidates and getting referrals. A small percentage of placements are from advertising response. The basic salary is £21000.

Should you be successful, you will be able to progress to Trainee Consultant. This is where you will be targetted on winning new business for the company. You should already have the basics of finding the right people from the initial research stage so once you are competent in winning new requirements naturally you'll be looking to make your own placements. Once you have proved you can do this you will then be promoted to a fully-fledged Consultant.
