They are based in central London, right by the Bank of England with stunning views across the city. The office atmosphere is immensely vibrant. A real 'work-hard, play-hard' philosophy runs through the business from directors to trainees and they have never lost an employee to a competitor.
They are looking to expand the London office as well as operations in Reading and Paris. Growth plans also include the set-up of offices elsewhere in Europe and in the U.S.
The company is looking for Trainee Recruitment Consultants to work across the IT sector, which is arguably the most competitive and lucrative recruitment market. You will specialise in either permanent or contract recruitment.
The initial training period is three months and covers 14 modules including selling, interviewing, rate negotiation and client meetings. There are refresher courses at months 6, 9 and 12. Following this, the company allocates a yearly budget of £500 per person for further personal development. From as early as day two, you will be looking to sell recruitment services to a range of businesses, and looking to promote your clients to the best IT candidates you can find.
The benefits package includes a rewarding commission structure (you should earn £40k in year one and £70k in year two) as well as gym membership, weekly spot prizes, monthly lunch and quarterly holiday incentives, subsidised healthcare and a Blackberry after 12 months. Top billers are also rewarded with cars which range from BMW's to Aston Martins.
The basic salary is £17.5k, which moves up to £18.5k after three months. Progression to Senior Consultant should take about 12-18 months which will see your basic salary rise to £22k.
The directors will only consider natural achievers, and like to see evidence of success in your CV. This can range from captaincy of successful sports teams to heads of student societies.
Sales experience would be preferred but not absolutely essential. However you will be tested on your ability to negotiate and your persistence. I cannot stress enough how competitive you will need to be.
Fluency in a Western European language would also be very beneficial.
